Nice to see you again, LJ-land! Wow. Life's been so toxic that I have a hard time trying to organize my thoughts, much less, write it down. In a nutshell, work and condo-hunting has been keeping me busy. Yep, I'm 25 and I've decided to grow up. But I've suddenly grown a fascination for skateboards. Sector 9s to be exact. Not so grown up after all. Boo Raims for bringing three boards in the Pedicab shoot. Now my ridiculous lack of balancing skills is making me want to reverse it so bad.

Speaking of the Pedicab shoot, the video for 'Ang Pusa Mo' is premiering on Myx tonight at 9pm. Tortuuuure!

That li'l promotion over and done with, life has been good. I wear my wings and I like to fly. I'm also still missing 5 artworks for our exhibit, so we'll probably move it to April 16. I'm stressed in a good way. Hello quarter life crisis we are friends!

Helping Gabbie sleep Sunday night. Champ and Bianca's birthday party last night. EMI night and Marc's birthday at Sanya's a while ago. Liver begging to detox. Poor thing. I shall let you rest a couple of days.

I'm the worst student ever. One more term to go and I'm stuck in a slacker's rut and I'm panicking about it, but too deep in the rut to actually do something about it. Spent the long weekend in Alabang to chill and do some artworks for our exhibit on April, but I found myself on the couch having DVD marathons with Tek and wasting time in The Palms with Casas. Who's my exhibit partner by the way. Well, at least I got the chilling part right. Laziness is the devil. Man it sucks.

I really wanna watch Broken Social Scene in Singapore. Okay, random thought's passed.

I've been Rockeoke-ing and Happy Mondays-ing and Fluxxe-ing and daydreaming in class and malling and watching TV and Facebooking too much. Oh, and before you think I'm the most useless person on earth, I've been working a bit too. Err.

Fuck I wanna get out of this.

I'm gonna get my pink streaks this week.

I just pinched my arm and I'm still in a dream sequence.

Shit I gotta snap back to my senses soon. This week really isn't a good time to be sleepwalking. I think this may be a result of reality overdose.

Or maybe I should just cut this diet crap and get some carbs in my system. Yeah.

The past couple of days had been the most relaxed I've been in a long time. Schoolwork had been insane! I only have my external defense for my thesis to worry about now, but I don't think I will cos it's nothing compared to what I had to go through the past couple of weeks. I'm also done with the logo for Roche, which took 9 revisions because the management and the employees couldn't agree with each other.

I totally deserved parrrty time and freeflowing Black Label!

It's so cold. It's Christmas time in the city.

Wow. My being the number one apathetic, useless citizen of this country had been disproved. I actually cried when they started getting tear gassed. Then I prayed for peace in this crazy country. Then two minutes later, Trillanes is on the screen saying they've decided to surrender. Wow God I love you.

So my spirits were up and I was whistling Peter Bjorn and John songs.

And then they announced the curfew. DAMMITTALKABOUTRAININGONMYFUCKINGPARADE! Then I found out about the exceptions. I checked my RX ID, and it expires Nov 2007, and I felt a tiny glimmer of hope. I get to Big Sky at 11:15 and they didn't even let me order anymore cos they were closing.

A week before external defense for Manila Rock and my adviser decides to power trip on me. But you know what, as long as the film comes out the way I want it to, then I'm happy.

I hate girls who try to steal other people's boyfriends. If settling for second is your game, I think you need to take a crash course on self-esteem.

On a brighter note,

I love teaching underprivileged kids. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy.

What constitutes true friendship/ relationship?

It sucks that I probably know the answer but still feel the need to ask.

Limbo is not a good place to be. But colors never fail to cheer me up.

I've been sick and I haven't really been in school mode. I'm not even sure if one has a connection to the other, but that's just how life is for me right now so... that's an honest update. Haha.

And I jumped on the bang wagon. My hair was starting to get sick of itself, so I decided to cheer it up a little.

I'M DONE SHOOTING THE BULK OF MY THESIS! Jezaz it feels good. What could've gone wrong did go wrong, and the equipment gods don't really like me that much, but everything came through and I'm so happy and so thankful that everyone's been super supportive.

Super thanks to Cindy and the BSM team for opening the place on a Monday so I could use it, and helping out with the set-up. To Hank, Sanya, and Tek for acting for me. Shawn and JP for being my DOPs/ glorified cameramen. To my barkada who came despite having work early the next day. Casas for driving all the way from Alabang and helping out with the lighting and audio. Kessenth and Jon for being part of the "band". Big Sky regulars who came and participated. Just came from a glorious buffet dinner in Spirals with the boyfriend and the two kids we've been babysitting lately. I overate and I feel like shit. Blech.

Or maybe it's because tomorrow is the day of my shoot in Big Sky. I'm nervous as hell. I mean, this film's been two years in the making, and now that it's finally happening, I just feel like passing out. Make or break time.
